V4ClusterPol Project Final Conference

On behalf of the Faculty of Management and Economics of Tomas Bata University in Zlín, as the Lead Partner of the international project “V4 Cluster Policies and Their Influence on the Viability of Cluster Organisations” (V4ClusterPol), we hereby invite you to the V4ClusterPol Project Final Conference to be held at the CzechInvest Agency, Stepanska 15, Prague, Czech Republic, on 8 December 2016.

The aim of the conference is to create a platform for experience exchange with different approaches to the cluster policy across the V4 countries (CZ, SK, PL, HU) and their influence on the viability of cluster organisations.

The V4ClusterPol Final Conference shall be devoted to the presentations of the relevant results of the V4ClusterPol project comprising demonstration and will cover recommendations & best practices for development of V4 cluster policies to strengthen V4 competitiveness.

The discussion of the project results implementation will be led by prof. Pavelková (Tomas Bata University in Zlín). Panellists will be the representatives of ministries Beata Lubos (PL), Péter Keller (HU), Robert Wenzel (CZ), representatives of cluster associations Pavla Břusková (CZ) and Daniel Ács (SK), or top Czech cluster managers Břetislav Skácel and Ladislav Glogar.

Just come to join the discussion and move this current cluster issue forward.

III. Academic Workshop: V4 Cluster Policy - Cluster Policy Evaluation & Cluster manager interviews - first results

Budapest, 9/9/2016

The third Academic Workshop will take place in Budapest and will be hosted by the cluster consulting & research organization Tenderix at the Ministry for National Economy.

The meeting will be focused especially on discussion of the first cluster policies evaluation results within the V4 countries. The morning session programme will be also enriched by presentations of current cluster policy in Hungary, represented by the head of International and Cluster Unit of the Ministry for National Economy, or by the ArchEnerg Cluster – International Innovative Cluster for Renewable Energy and Building Trade.

II. Academic Workshop: V4 Cluster Policy - the first Desk research results

Szczecin, 9/6/2016

The second Academic Workshop will take place in Szczecin and will be hosted by the Faculty of Management and Economics of Services, University of Szczecin.

The second meeting will be focused particularly on discussion of the first desk research results of cluster policies within the V4 countries. The morning session programme will be also enriched by presentations of current cluster policy in Poland, represented by Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), or by the Chemical Cluster GREEN CHEMISTRY.

I. Academic Workshop: V4 Cluster Policy - the Methodological Framework

Bratislava, 16/2/2016

The first Academic Workshop will take place in Bratislava and will be hosted by Alexander Dubcek University in Trenčín, Faculty of Social and Economic Relations in the area of the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics in Bratislava.

The acronym V4ClusterPol hides project called: V4 cluster policies and their influence on the viability of cluster organisations.

The goal of the project is to cooperate in research, exchange of knowledge and experience within the topic of cluster policies and their influence on the development of cluster organizations, i.e. their viability in the V4 countries. The framework of the cooperation is outlined by the analysis of the focus of V4 cluster policies and selected cluster organizations. The results will cover recommendations & best practices for development of V4 cluster policies for strengthening V4 competitiveness.

The first meeting will be focused especially on discussion of the methodological framework suggested by the Tomas Bata University in Zlín prepared together with National Cluster Association in the Czech Republic. The workshop will be also enriched by the presentation current cluster policy in Slovakia.
